Come November 20th, and fans will be back to the fold of Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena. This will be the first time since February when spectators will be back to the stupendous venue. New social distancing and hygiene procedures will be in place to ensure the safety of those in attendance.

The ravishing Coca-Cola Arena opened in June 2019 to the performance of Canadian stand-up comedian Russell Peters and American pop rock band Maroon 5 performing to a full house. Coca-Cola Arena is now set to greet fans back after a long hiatus due to COVID-19 which has almost spelt doom on the world. Spectators will get to savor OJ Lifestyle presents their Dark Knights Edition 1.0 event.

OJ Lifestyle is a brand created from the life story of founder Omar Jackson. It is all about the disruptive force of passion and drive, designed to entertain, thrill and energize.

Guy Ngata, CEO of Coca-Cola Arena, stated, “There has been a tremendous amount of work implemented across many sectors in Dubai to get to this point, and we are pleased to now open our doors again with the safety of our guests of the utmost importance.”

Guy Ngata, CEO, Coca-Cola Arena, UAE, is a Member of Coliseum – Global Sports Venue Alliance.

With Coca-Cola Arena now approaching 18 months in operation, its new protocols and procedures have been developed in harmony with Dubai Municipality, UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and international safety guidelines, as well as the venue’s management company ASM Global – the Los Angeles (US)-based venue and event management company specializing in managing stadiums, convention centers, theaters, and unique venues.

At the heart of Coca-Cola Arena’s return to welcoming back fans is VenueShield, an environmental hygiene protocol that was unveiled in June and has been implemented across all of ASM Global’s venues all over the world.

“It’s critical that we assure people they are attending a safe environment allowing fans and artistes to enjoy an amazing live experience, which we are confident will be the case,” asserted Ngata.

“Our VenueShield protocol is there to instill confidence in our guests as we all become accustomed to a new way of experiencing live events for the time being,” the top shot maintained.

Coca-Cola Arena has implemented a multilayered approach to safeguarding fans attending live events. The key highlights of Coca-Cola Arena’s VenueShield protocol include enhanced cleaning procedures, social distancing in place across queuing, seating and concourse areas, and disinfectant fogging machines used across the facility.

Thermal cameras have been put up across all ingress points of the Arena, while visitors with a temperature over 37.2°C will not be permitted entry and hand sanitizer dispensers are installed around Coca-Cola Arena to make certain that audience can enjoy the show in an utmost safe and secure environment. Wearing of face covers has also been made mandatory.
