The National Basketball Association (NBA) team Los Angeles Clippers (US) and team owner Steve Ballmer marked a milestone in the construction of Intuit Dome, the $1.8 billion privately-financed arena/entertainment complex scheduled to open for the 2024-2025 NBA seasons – the new home of Clippers.

‘Arena Digest’ stated that the milestone was not a major one, but it was enough for one for Ballmer, Clippers President of Business Operations Gillian Zucker and Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts to mark the occasion with an update on the construction of Intuit Dome from what will be the concourse of the arena’s main lobby entrance, overlooking the center court and The Wall.

The Los Angeles Clippers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles (US). The Clippers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Pacific Division in the league’s Western Conference.

The 20,000-capacity Crypto.com Arena is a multipurpose arena in Downtown Los Angeles (US). Adjacent to the L.A. Live development, it is located next to the Los Angeles Convention Center complex along Figueroa Street. The arena opened on October 17th, 1999. It serves as the home pitch of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 18,000-capacity Intuit Dome will open for the 2024-2025 seasons in Inglewood, California, as the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers. Built for the fan, by the fan, the technologically advanced and basketball-obsessed arena, entertainment venue and outdoor plaza will deliver a uniquely intimate and intense experience and redefine what it means to be the best arena in the world.

‘Arena Digest’ further stated that the milestone: The completion of Intuit Dome’s concrete frame construction.

Zucker told the gathered crowd, “A task this monumental requires a commitment and work ethic equally staggering. We are joined here today (July 25th) by 650 men and women who poured this concrete as well as their hearts and souls into this project and today we cheer for them. With the foundation laid and the concrete frame completed we can direct our focus towards the details and flourishes that will ultimately create an intimate intense fan experience at Intuit Dome unlike any other place.”
