LA Dodgers Winter Festival Image: LA Dodgers

Dodger Stadium (US) will transform into a winter wonderland beginning November 26th for the Dodgers Holiday Festival.

The ‘Dodger Insider’ stated that guests at the stadium will experience holiday surprises, interactive experiences and scenic and light installations. Additional, specially-ticketed activities include ice skating and photos with Santa. The festival will be held nightly from 5 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and from 3-10 pm on weekends from November 26th to December 31st with select dates excluded.

The 56,000-capacity Dodger Stadium is a baseball park in the Elysian Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California (US). It is the home stadium of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers. Opened in 1962, it was constructed in less than three years at a cost of US$23 million.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are an American professional baseball team based in Los Angeles (US). The Dodgers compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League West division.

The ‘Dodger Insider’ further stated that prices start at $16 and admission tickets must be purchased online in advance.

The open-air ice skating experience is the first of its kind at Dodger Stadium and will be constructed across the outfield. The 80-foot-by-60-foot ice rink will run 30-minute sessions throughout each event date.

One-hour time slots are available for professional photos with Santa in the bullpen. Guests can access their pictures digitally with an option to add printed photos.

Families will have the chance to take pictures for their holiday card by choosing from a multitude of backdrops, meet and interact with Santa’s elves and stroll through light tunnels and a Northern Lights immersive experience.

They can also enjoy holiday music and nightly live musical performances, create and take home a holiday keepsake and check off gift shopping at the Dodgers’ merchandise outlets in the Centerfield Plaza. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Homebase will allow guests to purchase holiday gifts and will collect new or gently-used baseball and softball gloves for use in its Dodgers RBI youth development program.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) youth development program, Dodgers RBI, is a youth development program that uses sport as a vehicle to provide critical resources and services to communities who are experiencing social injustices.

There will be full-service bars, holiday-themed food and Dodger Stadium favorite concessions including Shake Shack.

All attendees who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine will be required to show proof of either full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before the start time of the event at stadium entry gates. The Dodgers are strongly encouraging all attendees to wear a mask in all areas of the Holiday Festival unless actively eating or drinking.
