Racecourse living at Silverstone Image: Escapade

Escapade Living (holiday accommodation service in England, UK) started out with a simple but bold idea: To design the ultimate experience for motorsport enthusiasts. One will enjoy close-up viewing of top-level racing and personal usage rights of the circuit. Share your modern trackside accommodation with friends and family or use the performance-based wellness offering and clubhouse to unwind.

Escapade Living creates destinations that are entirely of their surroundings, whilst also providing owners with the opportunity to make attractive returns from unique world-class property. It shares common interests with its owners and guests, and isn’t afraid to pursue its passions. When guests stay at Escapade Living, they want them to be able to focus on what they enjoy – everything has been created with that in mind and to ensure each stay is effortless on their part.

The ‘Escapade’ stated welcome to Escapade Silverstone, a space which seamlessly merges hospitality and motorsport in an original way – right on the edge of the iconic Silverstone track.

The 1,50,000-capacity Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England (UK), near the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the current home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix.

Escapade Silverstone includes 60 individual residences, a clubhouse and car storage. From Summer 2023, it will be open for guests to come and stay and experience all that it offers.

Escapade Living will offer a selection of residences for purchase. This will enable buyers to call a piece of Silverstone their own, enjoy unique motorsport benefits and to share in the investment returns.

Owning a residence

The ‘Escapade’ further stated that Escapade Silverstone offers individuals the rare opportunity of owning a piece of this world-famous venue. Two, three or four bedroom residences are available for purchase. These all sit within the 14-acre Escapade Silverstone estate directly adjacent to the track. Beyond having an incredible private space to stay and entertain, owners will have access to the clubhouse and all of its amenities as well as privileged access to the legendary tarmac. They will also be granted founding membership and the various motorsport privileges this provides.

Owners will be able to uniquely benefit from the hospitality returns generated from the 1.2 million+ visitors that are attracted to Silverstone each year, the seven million visitors that head to the nearby Bicester Village and a Central UK location which ensures 50 percent of the population are within a 90-minute drive.

All of the residences enjoy underfloor heating, comfort cooling, the latest tech, high acoustic spec, en-suite bathrooms, and obviously somewhere safe to store one’s cherished vehicle.

Stated Stuart Pringle, Managing Director (MD), Silverstone Circuits, “We are delighted to be working with Escapade Living in creating a peerless hospitality experience. Escapade Silverstone will enable motorsport lovers to buy residences right on the edge of the Circuit. For us, its immersive, bespoke, guest-led offering hails the dawn of something special.”

Hitch-free

The ownership is straightforward, transparent and effortless.

In collaboration with Silverstone Circuits, every ownership aspect will be taken care of. When not in use, the residences will form part of the wider accommodation available to guests. Owners will receive a proportion of the room revenue generated and the rest will be used to cover all of the associated costs.

Everything will be done to ensure that an owner’s stay feels special and hassle-free. Under separate agreement an owner’s personal effects can be arranged for to be laid out in their property before arrival and then carefully removed on departure. A storage facility is also available for owner’s and guest’s vehicles when not in use. Further information on this can be found here.

Trackside accommodation

From 2023, Escapade Silverstone will begin to welcome guests. It will offer individuals the chance to be fully immersed in the breadth of Silverstone’s automotive culture and to share in the passion and excitement of this profoundly special place.

Aside from enjoying the luxury hospitality – with the added drama of watching motorsport in close proximity – one will also be able to pursue one’s personal interests both on the track and beyond thanks to the clubhouse.

Each residence has been meticulously crafted and designed to provide contemporary accommodation on the edge of the track.

The clubhouse

The clubhouse is a space to train, relax, socialize, and watch racing from. The ground floor has an indoor environmentally-friendly swimming pool and sauna overlooking the track. Directly above this is a restaurant and bar with floor-to-ceiling windows and exceptional views across the circuit. For the Summer months, the roof terrace will provide the perfect spot for socializing and al fresco dining.

Driver development

For those interested in improving their own abilities on the track, the clubhouse also offers state-of-the-art simulator rooms and a driver-focused gym.

Whether one is a novice wishing to learn how to tackle some of Silverstone’s legendary corners, or a more accomplished driver looking for marginal gains, it offers some of the world’s very best instruction and personal training programs.

Motorsport hospitality

It is the ultimate expression of motorsport and hospitality.

Silverstone has for a long time been recognized as a center of excellence from a racing, technology and engineering perspective. It is focused on becoming an all-weather destination, welcoming guests from around the world on a daily basis to enjoy motorsport together, and to do it in surroundings which enrich that experience.

Observed Will Tindall, head honcho of Escapade Living, “At certain times it can feel like a full-time job looking after multiple vehicles. This is why storage, maintenance and preparation for track days and events have been provided. This ensures owners and guests can spend their time enjoying their vehicles and all that Escapade Silverstone has to offer.”

Car storage and preparation

Climate-controlled car and motorbike storage (by separate agreement) can also be provided for both owners and guests. This facility, less than 500 meters from the edge of the Silverstone Circuit, will offer full pre- and post-use preparation and inspection – allowing guests to make the most of their time on and off the track. Detailing, services, tire changes, and mechanical inspections both pre- and post-use can also be offered. A local network of the very best specialist paint shops, wheel repairers are available and can commission and oversee any required work.

The comprehensive security arrangements will be devised with the assistance of the insurers. The very highest standards of care will be ensured.

The Silverstone Circuits

The GP Circuit

3.66 miles

Hosts the F1 British Grand Prix and is one of the fastest Moto GP circuits. The whole circuit has recently been resurfaced, and it now offers one of the smoothest race circuits globally.

The National Circuit

1.64 miles

The shortest circuit on the main track and includes the famous Luffield Complex. It currently hosts the British Touring Cars and the Walter Hayes Trophy, along with many club and National Championships.

The International Circuit

1.85 miles

The Southern loop of the circuit has some tricky corners to give the technically-minded something to think about and the longest straight on the circuit for the fastest vehicles to stretch their legs.

The Stowe Circuit

0.8 miles

The self-contained circuit sits on the infield and is a triangular course that uses some of the original runways. During the weekdays, it is used as an Aston Martin Test and Development Centre.

The heart of motorsport

From humble beginnings as a WWII airfield, Silverstone has become the absolute ‘home of British motor racing’. The surrounding area is populated with a large number of motorsport-related companies and is commonly referred to as ‘motorsport valley’. Beyond the world’s biggest and most recognizable racing brands, it has also become a center for sport, science and technological excellence.

The majority of Formula 1, Formula E teams as well as the F2, F3, GT3 teams, and their suppliers are also based in close proximity – with a new 400,000 square foot Aston Martin Cognizant F1 facility now in construction at Silverstone.

There are multiple driving experiences located on the circuit, including the Porsche Experience Centre and Handling Track and the Aston Martin Test and Development Centre based at the Stowe Circuit, a conference and exhibition facility in the Wing, and also the Silverstone Experience Museum. It’s no surprise that Silverstone is often seen as the major hub of motorsport in the world. And there’s a lot more coming.
