Live Nation Entertainment to invest in 18 venues Image: Live Nation

The American multinational entertainment company Live Nation is building 18 new venues across the United States, the entertainment company announced recently.

‘CBS NEWS’ stated that the new concert hubs – which will run the gamut from intimate clubs to large outdoor amphitheaters – are expected to open over the next 18 months and will cost $1 billion to build. This adds to the company’s existing portfolio of 150 venues.

Beverly Hills (US)-based the Live Nation Entertainment is an American multinational entertainment company that was founded in 2010 and is the global leader in live events and ticketing. With business operations and corporate functions across major divisions including Ticketmaster, Concerts, Media and Sponsorship, and Artist Nation they offer exciting opportunities across every discipline.

‘CBS NEWS’ further stated that the above move was described by the Live Nation as a way to reach smaller markets which might not have a music venue nearby.

The company’s announcement said, “Live Nation’s commitment to expanding into smaller, underserved music markets means the fans in vibrant places like Birmingham, Alabama, Virginia Beach, Virginia, or Allentown, Pennsylvania can now experience world-class events closer to home.”
