Elevate will lead the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 hospitality efforts at the Estadio Banorte, Mexico’s biggest and most famous stadium. This stadium, previously called the Estadio Azteca, is being dolled-up for the 2026 FIFA spectacle and is undergoing more than $200 million in upgrades.

‘eticketing.co’ stated that major transformation of the above facility is underway as it is one of the venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. The Estadio Banorte is slated to open in March 2026.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup™, marketed as the FIFA World Cup 26™, will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup™, the quadrennial international Men’s soccer championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament will take place from June 11th-July 19th, 2026. It will be jointly hosted by 16 Cities in three North American countries. The main host country of the matches is the United States while Canada and Mexico will be the auxiliary hosts. The tournament will be the first to be hosted by the three nations.

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ hospitality efforts focus on offering comprehensive, immersive experiences that go beyond just the match tickets including the various premium packages like the private suites, the lounges and the club options with perks such as premium seating, onsite concierge service, regionally inspired food, live entertainment, and expedited venue access.

Over $200 million is being invested in lending a spiffy look to the Estadio Banorte including increasing the capacity of the arena to 90,000 seats and enhancing the VIP hospitality spaces. These improvements aim to create a world-class venue for the fans during the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 and future sporting events.

Charlotte (US)-based the Elevate Sports Ventures’ ‘Elevate Hospitality’ refers to its consulting services and sales expertise focused on designing and selling premium, high-end hospitality experiences for the major sporting and entertainment events. This includes strategy and sales for the suites, the Private Boxes and other exclusive areas leveraging their data-driven approach and industry experience to maximize the revenue and enhance the fan experience for clients like the FIFA World Cup™ and the Circuit of the Americas (the 1,20,000-capacity motor racing track in Austin, Texas, US).

The Estadio Azteca, officially known as the Estadio Banorte for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Mexico. It is the home ground of the Liga MX team Club América as well as the Mexico national team. The stadium sits at an altitude of 2,200 m (7,200 feet) above the sea level. With a capacity of 87,523, it is the largest stadium in Latin America and the sixth-largest association football stadium in the world.

‘eticketing.co’ further stated that the Elevate head honcho, Al Guido, said they were happy to help with the FIFA World Cup™ Hospitality in Mexico. He saw the above development as a major step in consolidating their FIFA 2026 Hospitality efforts in the region. The stadium facelift includes increasing the capacity of the stadium to 90,000 and adding over 5,000 premium spaces. The premium spaces are part of an elevated FIFA World Cup™ hospitality plan allowing the fans access to the pitchside views, the club seats and the luxury suites.

Even though Elevate helms FIFA World Cup™ hospitality services at the Estadio Banorte they are not the main player for the 2026 overall FIFA showcase. The FIFA has entrusted On Location (a global leader in premium experiences, hospitality and travel) as its official Hospitality Provider.

The Grupo Ollamani (a Mexican company focused on sports and entertainment) owns the Estadio Banorte and also owns Club América, one of Mexico’s most well-known football teams. The group is playing a key part in the stadium’s FIFA World Cup™ hospitality plans.

Elevate’s goal is to deliver first-string hospitality facilities to the fans for the soccer show.
