Fan experience upgrade for Lumen Field Image: Seattle Seahawks and Lumen Field

The NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and First & Goal Inc. are pushing ahead with improvement plans to modernize and upgrade various areas of Lumen Field stadium over the next few years.

The 72,000-capacity Lumen Field is a multipurpose stadium in Seattle, Washington, United States. Located in the City’s SoDo neighborhood, it is the home field for the Seattle Seahawks.

Formerly the Ring of Honor Lounge, the new T-Mobile Endzone will undergo a full renovation this offseason to transform into a new 2,625 sq. foot sports bar complete with an 11’ x 60’ Mitsubishi 1.9mm High-Definition LED wall behind the bar.

The T-Mobile Endzone will serve featured cocktails, beer, and wine on gameday, and will be open to all Delta Sky360° Club Level ticket holders.

Within the T-Mobile Endzone, Seahawks fans will also see The 1976 Club, a new open-air semi-private loge box experience with four or six person seating options featuring heated, plush stadium seating and outstanding field views.

Members of The 1976 Club will also receive all-inclusive food and beverage, along with a reserved dining table for each group and complimentary parking. A total of 14 new loge boxes will be constructed as part of The 1976 Club for a total of 68 seats. Sold as Seahawks full-season memberships, fans will also receive access to concerts at Lumen Field.

Chris Lawrence, Seahawks Vice President of Tickets & Premium, said, “Every year we aim to reimagine our guest experience and offer new fan-first innovations that enhance the way our fans enjoy the game.

“We are excited to upgrade our Club Level’s premium offerings with the new T-Mobile Endzone and the addition of The 1976 Club, which features an exclusive seating style we’ve never had before at Lumen Field.”

Both the T-Mobile Endzone and The 1976 Club are scheduled to open for the 2024 Seahawks season. Memberships to The 1976 Club are on sale now and start at $48,000 per box for the full season.

Meanwhile, a new audio system featuring 48 Sub-woofers will be installed to greatly enhance sound clarity throughout the stadium.

To enhance the fan experience on gameday, two new Mitsubishi LED boards as well as six new Mitsubishi LED installations to replace the existing four boards in the south end of the stadium will be added to the bowl.

Additionally, two new LED Fascia boards will also be installed in the north end below the Hawks Nest and above the Red Zone Suites.

Fans can also expect to see a new look to Lumen Field the next time they visit. This will include brand new signage and names for destinations throughout the stadium to help fans better navigate Lumen Field. These updates improve navigation from entering the stadium, to locating seatz, finding a variety of food & beverage options nearby, and much more.

The Tunnel Club at Lumen Field is an exclusive new premium space located within the SW field tunnel. For Seahawks season, it will be the best place to be to cheer on the team as they enter the field and prepare for the game.

This members-only club includes all-inclusive food & beverage as well as exclusive gifts, event access and special guest appearances throughout the season.

The new Tunnel Club was among the modernization projects the Seahawks and First & Goal, Inc. announced in July 2022 as part of the stadium’s 20th anniversary Fanovation campaign. In 2022, the stadium unveiled new North videoboards that more than doubled the size of the previous boards, as well as new Cityside Bars located under the Hawks Nest.

Open to all fans on gameday, this project transformed the currently unused space underneath the stadium’s iconic Hawks Nest into a covered open-air fan gathering area with premium lower-level views of the playing field.

The space features two nearly 40-foot-wide bars – Hendrick’s Gin Cityside Bar and Tequila Herradura Cityside Bar – along with 83ft of drink rails facing the field, an oversized outdoor gas fireplace, and Pacific Northwest-themed finishes.

During the 2022 season, the stadium also opened three new concession locations with Amazon Just Walk Out and Amazon One Check-out free technology. Lumen Field now has the most Just Walk Out locations of any sports venue in the world.
