Motorpoint will continue to sponsor the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham (UK) until at least June 2024 following the extension of its sponsorship and naming rights partnership.

The Motorpoint Group PLC retails new and used automobiles. The company offers trucks, vans, sports utility vehicles (SUVs), cars, and other vehicles parts and accessories. Motorpoint Group serves customers throughout the United Kingdom.

The 10,000-capacity Motorpoint Arena is a multiuse indoor arena joined with the National Ice Centre in the Lace Market district of Nottingham, England (UK). The National Ice Centre and Nottingham Arena were opened by Olympic gold medalist Jayne Torvill on April 1st, 2000. The arena is the biggest live entertainment venue in East Midlands.

The ‘East Midlands Business’ quoted Hayden Vokes, Motorpoint’s Marketing Director, as stating, “The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham sponsorship enables us to give our customers the opportunity to buy pre-launch tickets to every show at the arena, whilst also giving us fantastic exposure to both a regional and national customer base. To be associated with one of UK’s top arenas not only gives us great brand awareness, it also benefits the many charities we work with through ticket giveaways and opportunities, so we can raise funds for worthy causes in the region. We have a brilliant relationship with the Arena and look forward to playing an active role as the venue reboots following its 18-month closure.”

Remarked Martin Ingham, Chief Executive, Motorpoint Arena, “After what has been a very difficult time for our industry and our venue, Motorpoint’s lengthy sponsorship extension has given us a hugely important boost to our business and a great vote of confidence in our program for the next few years. Motorpoint are a collaborative and engaging partner and we have some great ideas on how to work together for the benefits of all our customers. The Arena’s workforce has been hard at work reactivating and preparing the venue for live events and we couldn’t be more pleased to deliver fantastic experiences and unforgettable memories for our customers alongside the major national brand that is Motorpoint.”

The ‘East Midlands Business’ stated that the next 24 months are set to be the busiest ever in the venue’s history with a record number of events set to take place at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.
