International Polo Tour announced plans for a wide-ranging complex in Palm Beach County Image: International Polo Tour

Plans have been unveiled for development of the International Polo Tour (IPT) Stadium and IPT Educational and Cultural Centre in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Polobiz said the combined sporting, equestrian, and community complex is designed to redefine the future of polo and live experiential events.

Conceived as one of the most modern and technologically advanced polo venues ever envisioned, the project will bring together elite athletic competition, immersive fan engagement, equestrian education, cultural programming and year-round community use.

It aims to position IPT at the intersection of global sport, culture, and hospitality.

Tareq Salahi, President of IPT said, “This is far more than just a stadium. Among the stadium’s priorities will be a strong emphasis on preserving green spaces, as well as the careful use of land that supports the coastal and community character of Palm Beach County.”

International Polo Tour is a global organisation dedicated to elevating the sport of polo through elite competition, international cultural exchange, luxury experiences, tourism programmes, and diplomatic and philanthropic initiatives.

As part of the development, public-oriented facilities will include landscaped viewing areas, pedestrian trails, and interactive educational elements designed to engage visitors of all ages.

The new stadium will feature AI-powered interactive kiosks, robotic servers and assistants working alongside human staff, flexible spaces for indoor and outdoor events, facilities suitable for equestrian shows, educational workshops, charity galas, and accommodation for all players and horses.

The project is expected to boost state tourism and revenue for local hotels, restaurants, and businesses.

The IPT Stadium will also offer a limited number of co-naming and co-presenting Sponsorship opportunities, alongside more than 60 integrated premium luxury suites with brand activations, hospitality experiences, and dedicated visibility.

The stadium will host between 8,000 and 15,000 spectators. Design models, material selections, and suite customisation options will be available soon for qualified partners.

Unlike a traditional stadium, the IPT Educational and Cultural Centre will work directly with community leaders across Palm Beach County.

It will organise year-round Professional Arena Polo Matches, develop equestrian instruction for youth and adults to foster a greater appreciation for the sport, provide equine wellness and riding programmes, as well as traditional educational clinics and school partnerships. The centre will celebrate Florida’s rich heritage in equestrian traditions and host charitable events supporting IPT’s long-standing partners
