Plymouth Argyle FC community stadium open for public Image: Plymouth Argyle FC

The Plymouth Argyle F.C. (UK), also known as the Green Army, will be granted the unique opportunity to play on the Home Park pitch for a week this Summer.

The ‘Plymouth Argyle FC’ stated that in May 2022, after Argyle complete their Sky Bet League One campaign, the pristine surface at their digs – Theatre of Greens – will be offered up to members of the public for an unforgettable experience.

The Plymouth Argyle Football Club is a professional football club based in the City of Plymouth, Devon, England (UK). As of the 2021-22 seasons, the team are competing in League One, the third tier of English football. They have played at Home Park, known as the ‘Theatre of Greens’, since 1901.

The 16,388-capacity Home Park is a football stadium in Plymouth, England. The ground has been the home of Football League One club Plymouth Argyle since 1901. After undergoing considerable development in the 1920s and 1930s, the ground suffered heavy damage in World War II.

The ‘Plymouth Argyle FC’ further stated that its range of corporate packages provide a truly unique team-building or celebratory environment for staff groups and business clients to get together, while football fans – Argyle or otherwise – will be able to book their place on their Fan vs. Fan fixture taking place on May 20th.

Corporate bookings are available for groups of up to 50, which provide unprecedented access to the pitch and surrounding facilities for an all-inclusive Home Park experience.

Packages are customizable, with their most exclusive package (Platinum) including two-days of VIP treatment at the ‘Theatre of Greens’, including breakfast in Club Argyle, two training sessions on the first day led by Argyle Academy Manager Darren Way, free use of the corporate facilities in the Mayflower Grandstand for business meetings, as well as a buffet lunch and evening meal.

On Day Two of the Platinum package, guests will be treated to a full stadium tour to stretch the legs out, before attention turns to the centerpiece of the event – the match at Home Park.

After the pre-match meal, warm-ups and the team talks – delivered by an Argyle legend – are complete, guests will emerge from the Home Park dressing room to the iconic sound of Semper Fidelis before the game gets underway.

Post-match, win or lose, guests can refuel with a hot fork buffet, and either drown their sorrows or toast victory at the Club Argyle bar, which is open until late.

The experience is not just limited to corporate clients, though, and our Fan vs. Fan fixture at Home Park on the evening of May 20th offers football fans the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream at the Theatre of Greens, with bookings available for individuals, or groups.

For just £350 per person (plus VAT), players can enjoy the full matchday experience at Home Park, playing a full 90-minute fixture at Home Park, managed by an Argyle legend, before enjoying a post-match meal and drinks within the Club Argyle lounge.

Demand will be high for Play on the Pitch sessions at Home Park.
