The National Tennis Centre at Qiddiya (Saudi Arabia) is taking shape as Saudi Arabia’s future home of international tennis.

A ‘LinkedIn Post By Khaled AlOjyan’ stated that “Following the official announcement of the National Tennis Centre in Qiddiya city the newly released construction images reveal that work is already progressing rapidly on one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant future sporting landmarks.”

“The venue will feature a 15,000-seat main stadium with a retractable roof thus positioning it among the world’s premier tennis destinations and enabling year-round international competition.”

The ‘LinkedIn Post By Khaled AlOjyan’ further stated, “Designed to host major Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP – the governing body of the Men’s professional tennis circuits – the ATP Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA – the principal organizing body of Women’s professional tennis) events – the center will also include additional show courts, training facilities and fan experiences that will support the continued growth of tennis across the Kingdom.”

“More than a sports venue the National Tennis Centre represents Saudi Arabia’s long-term commitment to developing world-class sporting infrastructure, attracting global tournaments and inspiring the future generations of athletes.”

“As Qiddiya continues to transform into a global destination for sports, entertainment and culture the National Tennis Centre is rapidly emerging as a future icon of international tennis.”

As the region’s largest tennis center the National Tennis Centre features 30 courts – 28 hard courts and two clay courts – integrated into the dramatic landscape of Qiddiya City, 45 km West of Riyadh, with layered green façades woven into the surrounding Tuwaiq Mountains.
