Spurs’ stadium to dish out lavish dining experience

Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium is set to open in August 2018 with Michelin-caliber dining experiences in its On Four lounges and suites, which will make the venue London’s most unique sports and entertainment destination, according to a media release on the English football club’s official website.

The decision is to target more premium guests who will enjoy exceptional surroundings, service and seats while enjoying the matches making for an authentic football experience. The restaurants will be located on Level 4 on both the east and west sides of the 62,062-seater venue to make it convenient for the guests to access them.

The club has roped in world famous chefs like the Roux family and Chris Galvin to design the menus. From a private chef to casual dining, the guests will be provided an exquisite catering for an enhanced experience, the media release said while revealing the names of the restaurants.

The Mediterranean restaurant Espuela, meaning ‘Spur’ in Spanish, promises to offer quality cuts of meat and seafood for a smart-casual dining experience. Hakusha, the pan-asian restaurant, will have an exotic Cantonese, Japanese and Thai menu for its guests.

Terracotta will offer a new menu every week and serve food in small plates and sharing board format. Chef’s table with a more traditional dining experience, will give the guests an opportunity to dine with their charismatic chef partners, as they talk them through their food which will be prepared in front of the guests.

Michelin-star chef Chris Galvin, will be bringing his trademark fine-dining cuisine to the new stadium at his restaurant, Galvin at Tottemham.

The venue hopes to create a new benchmark for stadium experience, encompassing everything, from new style suites, lounges and innovative dining to lively and vibrant concourses with food and drinks that will cater to all tastes. The premium guests will be able to take benefit of direct access to a private lounge with complimentary refreshments, in addition to the restaurant upgrade options.
