The O2 Belfast top-drawer fan experiences

The Odyssey entertainment venue (UK) is to become The O2 Belfast after the organization that operates it signed a 10-year deal with the Virgin Media O2.

‘BBC’ stated that it means the Odyssey joins a network of 21 O2-branded music venues across the United Kingdom. The above deal will help to provide enriching experiences to the fans.

London (UK)-based Virgin Media O2 combines the United Kingdom’s largest and most reliable mobile network with a broadband network offering the fastest widely-available broadband speeds. They are a customer-first organization that brings a range of connectivity services together in one place with a clear mission: To upgrade the United Kingdom.

‘BBC’ further stated that the 11,200-capacity arena at the Odyssey is currently sponsored by the energy company SSE with that arrangement ending in July when the O2 takes over the sponsorship of the whole site.

Perth (UK)-based the energy company SSE is the United Kingdom and Ireland’s clean energy champion. The firm is investing more than ever before in a cleaner, more affordable and more secure energy system. The SSE is creating and supporting thousands of good jobs.

The deal also includes sponsorship of the Belfast Giants ice hockey team which is based at the Odyssey.

The Belfast Giants are a professional ice hockey team based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They compete in the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), the highest level of ice hockey competition in the United Kingdom. They play their home games at the SSE Arena.

The SSE Arena, Belfast (UK) is an indoor multipurpose venue with an audience capacity of up to 11,200 and is situated in the heart of Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The venue is controlled by a charity – the Odyssey Trust.

Aside from the arena the Odyssey complex consists of the W5 Science Centre and the Odyssey Place entertainment area which is anchored by a Cineworld cinema.
