Technique Stadium will be the new name of English National League Club Chesterfield FC’s home facility in UK. The decision has been taken following a five-year sponsorship deal struck with Technique Learning Solutions recently. Chesterfield FC announced the new name of their home arena on YouTube.

The all-seater football facility in Chesterfield – Proact Stadium – will be known as Technique Stadium from August 2020. The current sponsorship deal for the Proact Stadium ends in July.

In May 2019, Technique Learning was named as Chesterfield’s new shirt sponsor after agreeing to a two-year contract.

Chesterfield Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. The team competes in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system.

The new alliance further bolsters the company’s association with ‘The Spireites’ as the company’s logo already features on the club’s home and away shirts.

With seven centers covering the UK and headquarters in Chesterfield, Technique Learning Solutions is a leading training company, offering courses in electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration and programable logic controllers.

Remarked Mark Crook, Managing Director of Technique Learning Solutions, “As soon as we were aware of the chance to secure the naming stadium rights, we were keen to seize it as it will provide us with further opportunities to raise our profile and make people aware of what we do.”

‘The Spireites’ Commercial Manager Jim Brown put in, “I would like to thank Technique Learning Solutions for their valuable ongoing support, which is very much appreciated. We were delighted to welcome them as shirt sponsors last year and it is very pleasing to see their name also attached to the stadium.”

“As we welcome new sponsors of the stadium name, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Proact for their valued support over the last decade,” Brown added.

One club official described it as “a great new name for the stadium”.

The arena boasts a capacity of approximately 10,500 and was built at a cost of £13,000,000. The facility has been designed by Sheffield-based architects Ward McHugh Associates.

Meanwhile, the club is looking at introducing a cashless system at the stadium next season.

‘The Spireites’ Company Secretary, Ashley Carson, commented, “With the contactless limit also increasing to £45, there are many other benefits apart from just hygiene and many other stadiums are moving this way.”
