The supporters of the Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club can now take an immersive trip to Wolves’ home arena – the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England (UK) – from the comfort of their own homes using a virtual reality (VR) headset, which Julen Lopetegui’s (Manager of Wolves) squad has given a go.

‘Wolverhampton Wanderers FC’ stated that Wolves have become one of the first football clubs in the world to recreate their stadium in Rezzil’s virtual reality (VR) fitness and training platform, Rezzil Player.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, commonly known as Wolves, is a professional football club based in Wolverhampton, England (UK), which competes in the Premier League (the highest level of the men’s English football league system). The club plays at the Molineux Stadium since moving from Dudley Road in 1889.

The 32,050-capacity Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England (UK), has been the home ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889.

The Rezzil Player is an ever-growing collection of sports training games that will improve one’s performance and reaction times across a wide range of sports. With over 160 levels and 40 items of sports kit included, Rezzil is the world’s most advanced sports app!

‘Wolverhampton Wanderers FC’ further stated that available exclusively via the Rezzil Player app using an Oculus Quest, the app allows fans 360 views from the Molineux pitch and supporters can also put their skills to the test, practicing their heading ability in a series of challenges.

Said Richard Pepper, Head of Digital at Wolves, “We’re delighted to be able to partner with Rezzil, allowing supporters all over the world the chance to get a taste of what it’s like to head that last minute winner at Molineux. There’s been a lot of buzz around the metaverse over the last 12 months and we’ve been looking for compelling, tangible ways of utilizing the technology to offer unique experiences to our supporters. This partnership with Rezzil does just that with an incredibly entertaining and realistic experience.”

Stated Andy Etches, Founder and Sports Director of Rezzil, “We’re excited to partner with the forward-thinking team over at Wolves and give their supporters the chance to train their skills on the hallowed turf of Molineux. We’ve spent a long time ensuring all the tiny details are in place so that the fans get a truly authentic experience. We look forward to Wolves supporters recreating their favorite moments and challenging in the global leader boards.”
