WASPS agree long term partnership with Ticketmaster Image: Wasps Rugby

The professional rugby union team Wasps Rugby Football Club (UK) are delighted to announce a new long-term partnership with Ticketmaster Sport.

The ‘Wasps Rugby’ stated that Ticketmaster Sport, the global market leader in live event ticketing, will provide ticketing technology solutions to the club, starting with the launch of Season Memberships for the 2022-2023 campaign. The agreement will also cover music and entertainment events held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, meaning an improved, digitally-led experience for all visitors to the stadium.

The Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team based in Coventry, England (UK). They play in Premiership Rugby, England’s top division of rugby.

The Coventry Building Society Arena (formerly known as the Ricoh Arena) is a complex in Coventry, England (UK). It includes a 32,609-seater stadium which is home to the Wasps Rugby Football Club.

The ‘Wasps Rugby’ further stated that Wasps’ rugby and netball fans will be able to take advantage of a new, highly intuitive ticketing website with a frictionless digital ticketing experience, which will make it easier than ever to buy and receive tickets.

Ticketmaster Sport is an established sports ticketing technology provider operating in 28 markets and partners with some of the major global brands and clubs in sport. Its technology helps teams and tournaments efficiently manage their ticketing requirements.

The ‘Wasps Rugby’ further stated that leveraging Ticketmaster’s unrivaled database and support network, the marketing teams at both Wasps and Ticketmaster Sport will work together to create marketing strategies to engage current supporters, find new fans and boost ticket sales.
