Telecommunications company Pentanet announced its new alliance with the Australian Rules football club – the West Perth Football Club (Australia) – and officially unveiled the Pentanet Stadium!

The ‘Pentanet’ stated that located within the 16,000-capacity HBF Arena Joondalup in Joondalup, Australia, the Pentanet Stadium is an iconic northern suburbs sporting ground that has served the community well as the host of countless memorable events over the years.

Pentanet Stadium, formerly HBF Arena Joondalup Oval, is a sports venue and leisure facility in Joondalup, Australia. The stadium was renamed from Arena Joondalup to HBF Arena Joondalup Oval in July 2014, and then to Pentanet Stadium in April 2022.

The West Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Falcons, is an Australian Rules football club located in Joondalup, Western Australia. West Perth competes in the West Australian Football League and WAFL Women’s and is the oldest existing Australian Rules football club in Western Australia. The Pentanet Stadium serves as its residence.

The Pentanet team have been connecting West Aussies to the cutting-edge Internet and cloud gaming technologies they deserve since 2017. The team has grown a lot in this time, but has managed to maintain its playful startup culture and fierce passion for what they do!

Pentanet bring people together digitally and in real life (IRL) to share unforgettable experiences and memorable moments – next-level Internet is just a given.

The ‘Pentanet’ further stated that as well as powering the West Perth Football Club with premium Internet, it is confident that its partnership will help the club continue its tradition of engaging the Joondalup community.

Joondalup is home to the very first tower Pentanet built, so the company is delighted to increase its involvement in a community that supported it from Day One. Pentanet is a grassroots WA business and local team and is proud to be supporting a fantastic club like the ‘Falcons’ at a home ground in its local stomping ground, and being able to stay connected with its community.

Stated Stephen Cornish, Pentanet Managing Director, “One of our core missions at Pentanet is bringing people together. Having access to a stadium space as incredible as Pentanet Stadium will make it possible for us to host programs for local schools that add value to the wider community.”

Noted Joe McCarthy, West Perth Football Club CEO, “Seeing businesses getting back to grassroots are a big deal for us at West Perth Football Club, and with 8,000 kids in local junior programs, we can’t wait to see thousands of Pentanet logos flying around the skies this season.”
