After all, the cream of the cream speakers who graced the summit and presented their case studies are per se rich repository of all knowledge on the sports venue industry.

The Meydan Racecourse in Dubai is a unique facility which opened in the year 2010. It is not just about racing at the Meydan Racecourse and the luxurious venue offers activities and entertainment for all. The venue exudes a kind of aura and there are entertainment options aplenty from toddlers to adults alike. While the racing events are the main attractions, the after-parties also lure majorly.

The conference discussed how the Middle East countries have become a hot haunt for hosting sporting showcases – Qatar 2022 was indeed a blockbuster. On the horizon is the 2023 AFC Asian Cup to be held in Qatar which in all likelihood will be postponed to early 2024. Saudi Arabia has been awarded the 2027 version of the AFC Asian Cup. Saudi Arabia has also landed the FIFA Club World Cup™ 2023 and it will be held in December. The electrifying 2023 Formula 1 race will be held in Bahrain in March.

The battery of speakers made a strong case for avant-garde venues to be built in the Middle East countries barring Qatar – which already enjoys the most chic venues – as these countries have landed sporting spectacle in their kitties.

The Coliseum summits discuss almost every topic under the sun related to the sports venue industry and also serve as a platform to bring the venue aces as well as the delegates together and help them connect through its networking sessions. The crux and essence of Coliseum summits are the challenges which come up while taking up venue projects, the lessons learned in the entire exercise and the solutions offered by the venue pundits which is indeed best-of-breed. Solutions to be adopted by the new sporting venues were also discussed in the conclave.
