Man City looks for new Head of Catering

City Football Group (CFG) has announced a job vacancy for an experienced Head of Catering at its flagship Manchester City Football Club. CFC, which owns several football related business around the world, in its announcement said the Head of Catering will join the company’s Facilities Management team.

“The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Director and will play an integral role to drive the continuous development, delivery and overall improvement of all catering services across Manchester City Football Club and City Football Group in the UK to ensure delivery of a world class catering experience. The role encompasses managing a diverse range of in-house operations and outsourced catering services,” CFG stated.

“This is a key role in contributing to the Company’s strategy of delivering a world-class catering experience and will require a strategic leader who is able to provide vision, direction to achieve objectives and can motivate, inspire and develop both in-house teams and partner service providers to exceed the varying demands of all stakeholders,” it added.

CFG’s clubs include the Premier League’s Manchester City FC, MLS Franchise New York City Football Club in the United States, Melbourne City FC of the Australian A-League, and a minority shareholder in Yokohama Marinos of the J-League in Japan, a shareholder in La Liga Club, Girona FC and ownership of Uruguayan club, CA Torque.

“The common aim across all clubs is to provide the best possible experience and an unrivalled opportunity for fans and communities to participate in, and benefit from, football at both a local and global level,” the CFG statement said.
