Feld Motors Sports®

As we begin looking to the end of 2015, Feld Motors Sports® is pleased to share not only what an eventful year this has been, but also how exciting 2016 is shaping up to be.

All eyes are currently on Australia as Monster Jam® wrapped up a record-setting, four-city stadium tour. Over 175,000 fans have attended one of six performances that resulted in an overall occupancy of 90+%! Furthermore, the October 17th performance at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium recorded the largest attendance for a single Monster Jam performance outside North America with over 52,000 fans!

The live show, however, wasn’t the only star of this year’s Australian tour. In conjunction with the internal retail licensing team, Feld Motors Sports® has begun to build a year-round Monster Jam retail presence in Australia. This year saw the launch of a fully-branded Monster Jam retail promotion in all 182 Big W locations across Australia. The in-store promotion featured thirteen categories of branded merchandise including Mattel Hot Wheels® play sets, New Bright radio-controlled trucks, apparel (t-shirts, hats, pajamas, etc.), backpacks, footwear, posters, DVD’s and more. The promotion was supported by broadcast and digital media as well as Monster Jam truck appearances at various Big W locations. Due to record product sell-through, the planned four-week promotion had to end a week early in order to allow Big W to replenish the officially licensed Monster Jam product across all categories.

But 2015 doesn’t end in Australia. On November 7th, Monster Jam will make its third annual appearance at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. A key element of Feld Motors Sports® success in Stockholm is an on-going partnership with BAUHAUS, a home improvement retailer in Sweden. BAUHAUS activates extensively around Monster Jam, including exclusive offers to its database, customer promotions and truck appearances at retail locations. This year’s show is already looking to match last year’s near capacity crowd of 35,000.

Monster Jam is also set to make its inaugural appearance in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico from November 6th to 8th for 4 performances. The 2015 international tour will then conclude in Helsinki, Finland, at Hartwall Arena with 3 performances on November 14th & 15th. Helsinki has been a staple on the international tour since 2004!

Feld Motors Sports® will soon announce a number of new engagements for the 2016 international Monster Jam tour. Many of these will be large, high-profile markets that will be the result of long-term planning and cooperation with our sponsors, venues, promoters, and agencies. Currently, the upcoming 2016 tour has planned stops in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America and the Middle East.

If you would like to learn more about Feld Motors Sports or Monster Jam, please feel free to pass by and say ‘hello’ at Coliseum Summit in the U.A.E. on November 4th & 5th, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain.
