Dapper look for Camping World Stadium

The Citrus Sports’ Camping World Stadium Improvements development in downtown Orlando (US) is moving one step closer to realization. It is a significant construction project.

The Construction Manager of Barton Malow Builders announced that it will host a pre-bid virtual meeting this month for the City of Orlando in Florida.

Camping World Stadium is a stadium in Orlando, Florida, located in the West Lakes neighborhood of Downtown Orlando in US. The facility can sit 65,000 spectators.

Construction representatives from Barton Malow, along with The Collage Companies, JCB Construction, C2 Advisors and Provisions Construction & Development will share information about the project, including scope, design, schedule and how to prequalify to bid on packages in course of the virtual meeting.

The stadium first opened its doors in the year 1936, and in the year 1989 the stadium underwent a major expansion, and reconstruction of the lower bowl and suite-level repurposing in 2014. The present revamp work will include the north end zone seating bowl, giving chic look to restrooms and concession areas, improving club-level seating, new premium mezzanine clubs on east and west, and ameliorating the parking spots and building systems.

This is not Barton Malow’s maiden work on the gridiron. The company’s stadium renovation experience also includes legendary venues like the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California (US) which serves as the residence of the UCLA Bruins – the athletics teams that represent the University of California, Los Angeles, the Michigan Stadium (nicknamed ‘The Big House’) in Michigan, US, which serves as the home ground of Michigan Wolverines comprising 29 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan, the Soldier Field soccer stadium in Chicago, US, which is the home venue of National Football League (NFL) team Chicago Bears, and the outdoor football stadium in Indiana (US) Notre Dame Stadium which serves as the home facility of the Fighting Irish football team – the intercollegiate football team representing the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. The construction company was also involved in the rehabilitation of the Daytona International Speedway in
Florida, US.
