Zürich venue may come alive with Pegasus act

The Hallenstadion in Zürich, Switzerland – which remained closed following months of ban on events due to the COVID-19 scourge – will open its doors again to live performers. On November 28^th, the Swiss pop-rock band Pegasus is slated to present their new album ‘Unplugged’ under the motto ‘Live Again’ in the stadium.

The Hallenstadion is a multipurpose facility located in the quarter of Oerlikon in northern Zürich, Switzerland. It is home to the ice hockey team ZSC Lions of the National League and has a seating capacity for 11,200 spectators.

Before the concert, in October, ice hockey will be played again in Hallenstadion Zürich. The first concert since the fatal respiratory disease bled the world will take place shortly afterwards. The event includes not only the album release by the Swiss band Pegasus in the largest event hall in Switzerland, but also the first rock-pop concert after a nine-month break.

To stick to the COVID-19 guidelines, the Hallenstadion, the gadget ABC Entertainment Group AG and the band will work in harmony with the authorities concerned to implement the coronavirus rules in its entirety.

“The health and safety of the band, the crew, the staff and above all the fans and visitors are the top priorities at the concert, as at all other events in the Hallenstadion Zürich,” emphasized Philipp Musshafen, Director, Hallenstadion.

Advance ticket sales for the concert started on August 29^th. To ensure the safety factor, fans can buy a maximum of six personalized tickets for the desired seat category. There will have to be considerable distances between the seats.

“In the last few months we have worked intensively on our protection concept and exchanged information with the authorities. It’s not just about the distance between the seats, it starts at the entrance in front of the Hallenstadion and ends when the last guest leaves the venue,” explains Musshafen.

If the concerned authorities do not green light the concert, the full purchase price including advance booking fees will be refunded to the visitors.

The Hallenstadion Zürich is constantly monitoring the coronavirus scenario and is following the instructions of the Federal Office of Public Health and the cantonal medical service.

“Should the situation change and the regulations be adjusted again, this will be taken into account in our planning,” stated Musshafen.
