Coliseum’s’ métier is its international conferences held every year. Due to the distinctive nature of its seminars, Coliseum takes pride in being the trendsetter in this field.

However, the cataclysmic effect of COVID-19 globally has had severe impact on the sports venue sector and virtual conferences have become the trend. The pandemic has also left ‘Coliseum’ with no other option but to hold the US conference in the online format.

After the first appearance of ‘Coliseum’ in the US in 2015, this year the same will be held in the virtual mode – Coliseum Online Week US Worldwide – from October 19-23, 2020.

The calamitous fallout of the pandemic will be one of the topics to be discussed in the online session due to which one of the conference segments has been adjusted to HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY.

However, the primary objective of the ‘Coliseum Summits’ remain the same – to provide a platform to the sports venue sector virtuosos to discuss among themselves the challenges they are facing and what are the lessons learned.

This year though COVID-19 has overshadowed everything else but that does not mean that ‘Coliseum Online Week US’ will focus solely on this issue. Several other issues faced by the sports venue sector will come up for deliberations for which the conference structure has been kept with 11 different segments and boasts imposing line-up of Speakers.

To name a few: Bill Mannarelli, FC Barcelona (Spain), Tom Pistore, UBS Arena (US), Jeff Berding, FC Cincinnati (US), Chuck Olney, Denver Broncos (US), Allen Johnson, Orlando Venues (US), Julie Giese, Phoenix Raceway (US), Omar Mitchell, NHL (US), Raul Gutierrez, Allegiant Stadium (US), Todd Humphrey, Seattle Kraken (US), Brett Johnson, Phoenix Rising (US), and Benny Tran, LAFC (US).

A ‘Big Thank You’ to Coliseum US Online Conference sponsorsL-Acoustics, Aecom, Vector Foiltec, Adamson Systems, JLL, Fumi-gate, Series Seating, SSTC Inc., and Appetize Technologies.

Coliseum’ hopes that the coronavirus storm will soon be over and it can return to Los Angeles, United States, next year by August end or beginning of September for the in-person version of the conference.
