Khalifa International Stadium special venue tour

Doha will be host the 6th Coliseum Summit MENA on October 18-19, 2016. A key attraction of the event will be the special venue tour of Khalifa International Stadium, the site chosen to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ final. The tour will be the concluding event on the first day of the Summit.

Built in 1976 and named after Qatar’s former Emir Khalifa bin Ahmad al Thani, the stadium boasts of the largest arena in the country. It has hosted some of the biggest events in the region including the Asian Games 2006.

Currently, the Aspire Zone Foundation, a stakeholder of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), is leading the upgrade and renovation of Khalifa International Stadium. The stadium will feature 40,000 seats for spectators in 2022, along with a number of upgraded facilities.

The guided tour of the landmark stadium will be held on October 18 at 5pm. As there are just 60 spots available for the event, the tour will be offered to registered delegates on first come first serve basis.
