Digital blockchain firm DigitalBits has become the official global crypto of the Italian football club Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Zytara Labs has become the team’s official global digital banking partner.

‘yahoo!finance’ stated that FC Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan) announced recently two new partnerships in the cryptocurrency world heading into the 2021-2022 seasons. The reigning Serie A winners will take on Zytara labs as the team’s official global digital banking partner with support from the DigitalBits Foundation.

Inter Milan is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy (Italy). Inter is the only Italian side to have always competed in the top flight of Italian football since its debut in 1909.

The deal is worth around $100 million and is a multiyear partnership that will support the teams’ move to open up to an audience that lives an increasingly digital life. The goal is to “reach global targets and different age groups and establish itself as an icon of culture and innovation as well as sport,” read a release announcing the above move.

The CEO of Inter, Alessandro Antonello, said about the deal, “We are proud to welcome Zytara as our new global partner and for Inter to officially join the DigitalBits ecosystem, who will also become our new sleeve sponsor. This agreement reflects Inter’s commitment to set the global standard for technological excellence. While digital-first experiences are vital for all sports clubs, our partnership aims higher. By leveraging Zytara digital banking and blockchain technology we will be able to enhance our global reach towards younger and digital-savvy audiences.”
