Starting next weekend, football stadia in Hamburg (Germany) can again be filled to the brim under 2-G conditions – that is people who have been jabbed and who have recovered from the fatal respiratory disease – COVID-19.

The ‘News.in-24’ stated that in the clubs, fully vaccinated and convalesced people will be able to let their hair down, break into a jig again sans mask and without maintaining social distancing from September 25th.

The above information was given by the Deputy Senate spokeswoman Julia Offen on September 21st.

The Senate also decided that 12- to 17-year-olds who have not been vaccinated could take part in 2-G events “until further notice”. Previously, there was a transition period of six weeks.

The ‘News.in-24’ further stated that Hamburg is the 2-G pioneer in Germany. Hamburg was the first Federal State to introduce the 2-G option model in August end this year. Accordingly, it is up to the discretion of the venue operators whether they want to let in people who have received shots in their arms or who have recovered from the dreaded disease and do not come under the purview of strict COVID-19 protocols in place.

Eateries, pubs, cinemas, theaters, museums, and zoos, among others, can allow capacity crowd again -provided they have been vaccinated and tested. Vaccinated and tested people do not have to maintain physical distancing. However, the use of face coverings has been made compulsory as of now.
