Stadiums across Italy returned to opening to 75 percent of capacity from February 19th, with Round 26 of the Serie A season already having got underway on the night of February 18th.

The ‘Forza Italian Football’ stated that Juventus F.C.’s 1-1 draw with Torino F.C. kicked off the action for the latest round of fixtures.

Games played on February 19th and February 20th saw attendances increase from the 50 percent that had previously been allowed.

The ‘Forza Italian Football’ further stated that while outdoor arenas can be filled to 75 percent of capacity, indoor venues are capped at 60 percent.

The Serie A, also called Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league competition for football clubs located at the top of the Italian football league system and the winner is awarded the Scudetto and the Coppa Campioni d’Italia.
