After becoming the first club in Argentina to adopt the naming concept of its stadium, the Argentine sports club Argentinos Juniors confirmed on May 1st that for the first time since 2018, its stadium will have a new name – Bomeran Diego Armando Maradona.

The above decision was announced by the club’s management. The contract, in principle, will be valid until May 2023.

The ‘newsfounded.com’ stated that in 2018, the Bicho de La Paternal Board of Directors confirmed that their house would be called Autocrédito Diego Armando Maradona.

The Argentinos Juniors is an Argentine sports club based in La Paternal, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The club is mostly known for its football team, which currently plays in the Argentine Primera División, and was recognized as one of the most important football teams of South America by FIFA.

The Estadio Autocrédito Diego Armando Maradona is named after Diego Maradona, a former player of tenants Asociación Atlética Argentinos Juniors. The venue sits in Villa General Mitre, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the home venue of Argentinos Juniors, and has a capacity of 26,000.

An official statement by the club read, “On Labor Day (May 1st), we declare Bumeran as the main sponsor of the Argentinos Juniors Athletic Association. The job portal and the club will work in tandem. Bumeran has its presence in five countries thus becoming the first job portal in the region to venture into the world of football.”

Bumeran is a recruitment firm and Hispanic job posting site with individual job boards in various Latin American countries, including Mexico. The platform helps employers find top Latino talent from their extensive database of over three million candidates.

The ‘newsfounded.com’ further stated that the club statement concluded, “The Marketing Department of the Argentinos Juniors Athletic Association is constantly working to raise the bar.”

Diego Armando Maradona was an Argentine professional football player and Manager. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, he was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century Award. He passed away on November 25th, 2020.
