Legends appoints new VP for project development Image: Legends Int'l.

The premium experiences company Legends announced on July 26th the appointment of John Nicholson as Vice-President of Project Development, Legends International.

‘Legends International’ stated that Nicholson has more than 30 years of extensive experience in project development and management, including managing global design and construction projects for Tiffany & Co., Sky TV, The London 2012 Summer Olympics, and the Premier League club Chelsea F.C.

Founded in 2008, Legends is a premium experiences company with six divisions operating worldwide – Global Planning, Global Sales, Global Partnerships, Hospitality, Global Merchandise, and Global Technology Solutions – offering clients and partners a 360-degree data and analytics-fueled service solution platform to elevate their brand and execute their vision.

‘Legends International’ further stated that Nicholson will be based in Legends’ London office, initially focused on building upon Legends International’s growing Global Planning business in the area.

Prior to joining Legends International, Nicholson was a Director of Operations at Mace North America, an international construction and consultancy company. During his time at Mace, Nicholson worked with JPMorgan Chase & Co and was also Project Director for Tiffany & Co.’s renovation and reconstruction of its iconic flagship store in New York City. Before joining Mace, Nicholson was Project Director for the Sky Campus Redevelopment in West London, which included the flagship, award-winning Sky Central building, the award-winning Believe In Better Building which is the largest timber framed office building in the United Kingdom, several ancillary office buildings, studios and health and fitness facilities and multistory car parks, all bound together by the most prestigious private sector Landscaping project ever delivered in the UK.

Nicholson’s vast experience also includes The London 2012 Summer Olympics where he managed development of the Athletes Village, Aquatic Centre and the International Broadcast Centre. He received an OBE for his contributions to the Games. In addition, he served as Project Manager for the stadium, hotel and residential development for Chelsea F.C. at Chelsea Village, London (UK).
