The National Football League (NFL) team Jacksonville Jaguars’ (US) home won’t be called TIAA Bank Field much longer, although the new stadium name hasn’t yet been revealed.

‘JAGSWIRE’ stated that recently the financial services company TIAA announced it’s selling its bank to a group of investment funds and will focus on its retirement and management businesses.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jaguars compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference South division. The team plays its home games at the TIAA Bank Field.

The 67,164-capacity TIAA Bank Field is an American football stadium located in Jacksonville, Florida, US, that primarily serves as the home facility of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL) and the headquarters of the professional wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling.

The TIAA Bank is an American diversified financial services organization under the auspices of New York-based TIAA. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, TIAA Bank provides banking, mortgages and investing services throughout the United States.

‘JAGSWIRE’ further stated that the Jaguars’ stadium became EverBank Field in 2010 and was renamed TIAA Bank Field when the company acquired EverBank in 2018. The name change won’t happen during the 2022 NFL season which began on September 8th, 2022 and will end on January 8th, 2023.

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference.

In 2014, the Jaguars and EverBank (now TIAA Bank) agreed to a 10-year, $43 million extension to their stadium naming rights deal that runs through the 2024 season.

The original name of the Jaguars’ home was Jacksonville Municipal Stadium until it became Alltel Stadium in 1997. At the conclusion of that deal, it became Jacksonville Municipal Stadium for a few more years before EverBank purchased the naming rights.

In addition to being the home of the Jaguars, the stadium has also served as the site of the annual Florida vs. Georgia college football game.
