WWE and UFC have struck a five-year partnership to bring live events to the OCVIBE Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Ringside News said the unprecedented collaboration between the two giants of the industry promises an exciting array of events that will captivate audiences through 2028.

The agreement heralds a new era of immersive sports and entertainment experiences at OCVIBE, a visionary district centered around the iconic Honda Center.

The 18,336-capacity Honda Center is an indoor arena located in Anaheim, California, US. The arena is home to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Originally named the Anaheim Arena during construction, it was completed in 1993 at a cost of US$123 million.

Under the terms of the new deal, WWE and UFC will each have three shows at Honda Center annually through 2028. That includes major pay-per-views/premium live events along with secondary showcases such as Fight Night, Raw and SmackDown.

The fusion of UFC’s intense combat action and WWE’s larger-than-life storytelling promises to create an unmatched entertainment extravaganza for fans attending events at OCVIBE.

Peter Dropick, Executive Vice President of UFC Event Development and Operations, said, “For nearly 20 years, Honda Center has been one of UFC’s most favorite venues to visit.

“The Samueli Family and Honda Center team have been amazing hosts and have helped us put on some of the most memorable UFC events ever. Now the creation of OCVIBE will take the fan experience to the next level with all the innovative ways they will be able to activate around UFC and WWE events in one destination.”

The collaboration marks the debut of OCVIBE as a premier destination for marquee events, showcasing the talents of UFC fighters and WWE superstars in back-to-back spectacles.

Fans can expect immersive experiences, including viewing parties and interactive activities, set against the backdrop of OCVIBE’s innovative technological innovations and diverse dining options.

Bill Foltz, CEO of OCVIBE, said, “Hosting UFC and WWE at the iconic Honda Center allows us to bring some of the most electric live experiences to the residents of Orange County.

“The infectious excitement of these events will only become more powerful as we reimagine the downtown experience for Orange County at OCVIBE, creating a magnetic destination for entertainment, sports, and culture.”

The collaboration kicked off during President’s Day weekend with a double-header event at Honda Center, featuring UFC 298: VOLKANOVSKI vs TOPURIA on Saturday, February 17, followed by WWE Monday Night Raw on February 19.

Honda Center’s rich history as a premier venue for both UFC and WWE events further solidifies its position as a cornerstone of sports and entertainment in Anaheim. With UFC’s illustrious legacy of hosting unforgettable matches and WWE’s decades-long tradition of delivering captivating performances, fans can anticipate a thrilling line-up of events at OCVIBE for years to come.
