Coliseum Summit ASIA PACIFIC ropes in BWA, Rossetti and Vanguan Sports as partners

Coliseum – a top name in international stadium conferences – is glad to announce BWA, Rossetti and Beijing Vanguan Sports & Culture Industry as partners for Coliseum Summit ASIA PACIFIC, to be held in Beijing on October 25-26. Beijing’s National Stadium, popularly known as the Bird’s Nest and China Sports Venue Association Co. Ltd. are the co-hosts of the event.

BWA, the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade, was founded in 2003 by leading German corporations to assist them in entering emerging markets. In 2010, BWA also opened up to foreign corporations needing assistance in entering the German market. BWA member companies come from all fields of industry, including stadium architecture, event venue management and professional sports.

“We are working in and with China for over 14 years now. Our strength is the cross-culture exchange between China and Germany. Many delegations use our bridge to understand the business culture of the other country on all levels from political leadership to business levels. The sector of sports venues is booming now. The Olympic Winter Games 2022 are like a development motor for this segment. With our offices in Germany and China we support this development on all levels,” said Michael Schumann, Board Member, BWA.

Rossetti is a global architectural design and planning firm with a portfolio of showcase properties spanning sports and entertainment, interiors, hospitality and retail.

“Nearly every big club is looking to build a new stadium in China. The prospect of hosting the World Cup in 2030 makes the venue industry busy. Now is the time to transfer knowledge to and within China in order to deliver first class stadiums and arenas for future events,” said James A. Renne, Principal, Rossetti.

Vanguan Sports was established in 2017 in Beijing. The company is one of the few operation institutions of sports and culture complex in China. The founding team members of Vanguan Sports are from world’s leading institutions of sports facilities or sports and culture entertainment, such as AEG, Beijing Wukesong Arena, Alibaba Sports, China Sports Industry, DTZ, etc.

Industry veteran Jerry Han is the Director of the Board of Vanguan Sports.
