Coliseum, the only Global Sports Venue Alliance, bringing together the key decision-makers within the stadium and arena business industry, is heading to Chicago. On August 26–27, Coliseum Summit US 2026 will welcome 250 leading executives from the worlds of stadiums, arenas, sports, entertainment, architecture, technology, hospitality, and venue operations at one of the most iconic sports venues in the United States: Wrigley Field.

Following last year’s highly successful Nashville edition, Coliseum Summit US moves to the “Windy City” for the ninth in-person US edition of Coliseum, alongside two digital editions hosted during the pandemic years. And once again, Coliseum remains the only stadium and arena business event in the United States hosted directly inside one of the country’s most prestigious and historic sports venues.

Over two intensive days, the Summit will feature:

  • 50+ speakers
  • 13 hours of networking
  • 3 exclusive venue tours
  • and a carefully curated audience designed to create meaningful conversations and long-term business relationships.

At its core, Coliseum is not about exhibition halls, endless panel discussions, or generic conference formats. Coliseum focuses on bringing the right people into the room, venue owners, operators, clubs, leagues, architects, engineers, suppliers, consultants, and host city stakeholders, in order to create the valuable conversations where people can truly learn, grow, and do business together.

The event format has become one of Coliseum’s defining trademarks globally:

  • no breakout sessions
  • no panel discussions
  • no exhibition space
  • no parallel tracks
  • no sales-heavy presentations

Instead, all delegates remain together inside one room, creating a highly focused and interactive environment centered around real-world case studies, challenges, lessons learned, innovation, commercialisation, venue design, construction, fan experience, venue technology, sustainability, premium hospitality, mega-events, venue security and the future of sports and entertainment venues as destinations.

Chicago provides the perfect setting for this year’s edition. Few cities in North America combine sporting tradition, iconic venues, urban energy, and major event ambitions like Chicago. And few venues carry the global recognition and emotional connection of Wrigley Field.

Confirmed participants and speakers already include representatives from: Chicago Fire FC, Chicago Stars FC, Kansas City Chiefs, Intuit Dome / Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Athletics, NASCAR, Cleveland Cavaliers, Populous, Oak View Group, Legends Global, Charlotte Hornets, ME Engineers, Chicago Sports Commission, Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, AECOM and many more.

As always, Coliseum’s emphasis remains firmly on quality over quantity. The Summit is intentionally capped in size to maintain its highly personal atmosphere and ensure delegates have genuine access to speakers, decision-makers, and peers from across the industry.

In addition to the Summit sessions themselves, delegates will also experience three exclusive venue tours, giving participants behind-the-scenes insights into some of Chicago’s most important sports and entertainment facilities.

Over the years, Coliseum has established itself as the only truly global alliance for sports venues, bringing together the international stadium and arena industry through conferences, daily news coverage, research, networking, and year-round industry engagement. What started as a vision to connect venue professionals around the world has grown into one of the most recognised and respected communities in the business.

And in Chicago this August, the Coliseum family comes together once again.
