BAM Sports GmbH (construction company in Düsseldorf, Germany) is now called ZECH Sports GmbH.

The commercial company Zech Group SE and the Gustav Zech Foundation each took over 50 percent of the shares of the German building construction subsidiaries of the Royal BAM Group nv.

The ‘ZECH Sports GmbH’ stated that all employees have been retained, the contact persons will remain and the acquired companies will be renamed. The above has been done to make ZECH a more robust brand.

The Royal BAM Group nv is a Dutch construction-services business with headquarters in Bunnik, Netherlands. It is the largest construction company based on revenue in the Netherlands.

The ‘ZECH Sports GmbH’ further stated that ZECH Hochbau AG (formerly BAM Deutschland AG) will continue to be the point of contact for all customers and partners in turnkey building construction for complex commercial and administrative buildings, hotels, schools, public-private partnership (PPP) projects as well as correctional facilities and multifunctional arenas.

ZECH Facility Management GmbH is the service provider for everything that has to do with technical matters.

Kurt Zech, CEO, Zech Group SE, explained, “The knowhow of the employees and the ongoing projects complement our existing service portfolio very well. With this investment, we are substantially strengthening our construction activities in Germany – both quantitatively and qualitatively – and are further expanding our market-leading position in the building division in Germany.”

Olaf Demuth, CEO, Zech Group SE, added, “The acquisition of the shares in ZECH Hochbau and ZECH Facility Management strengthen our market position in Germany. Through our large construction and technology divisions and the other companies in the integral planning systems, environment and consulting divisions, we can offer our unique service portfolio as the service provider for everything to do with real estate to all customers. Our strength is that our customers can obtain everything from a single source and that they have the option of choosing this individually and in partnership with the Smart Construction modules. We look forward to working with you and welcome all new employees, customers and partners to ZECH.”

The Zech Group SE is a strategic management holding company, under whose roof three business areas with their operational management companies are combined. A wide range of services make the company a competent partner in the building, real estate and hotel sectors. The broadly based and diversified group of companies concentrates on the value chain around real estate. Medium-sized and entrepreneurial, the Zech Group is able to seize opportunities quickly and adapt structures to the requirements of the market.
