Bellagio lake grandstands for Vegas F1 show

The hospitality company MGM Resorts International has announced that grandstands will be built on the iconic lake at Bellagio for Formula 1′s Las Vegas Grand Prix (US).

‘fox5vegas.com’ stated that as per a news release, the experience will offer “Guests the opportunity to witness the race from the grandstands built on the Bellagio Lake where the resort’s iconic fountains dance daily.”

Las Vegas, Nevada (US)-based MGM Resorts International is an American global hospitality and entertainment company operating destination resorts in Las Vegas, Massachusetts, Detroit, Mississippi, Maryland, and New Jersey, including Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, and Park MGM.

The Fountains of Bellagio is a free attraction at the Bellagio resort, located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, US. It consists of a musical fountain show performed in an 8.5-acre (3.4 ha) man-made lake in front of the resort. The lake is sometimes referred to as Lake Bellagio and is loosely based on Northern Italy’s Lake Como, located near the village of Bellagio, Lombardy.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is a planned Formula One Grand Prix due to form part of the 2023 Formula One World Championship, with the event taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on a temporary street circuit including the Las Vegas Strip.

Formula One is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile.

‘fox5vegas.com’ further stated that MGM Resorts informed that the “epic seats” are currently only available as part of the company’s race-and-stay packages. MGM says packages are now available for purchase only at mgmrewards.com/F1LVGP.

Said Steve Zanella, MGM Resorts’ Chief Commercial Officer, “In just over a year, F1® fans from around the globe will see how Las Vegas throws a party. In addition to the Bellagio Grandstands, which will set new standards for event viewing, we will create a round-the-clock celebration worthy of this international spectacle.”
