After the reveal at the Birmingham City F.C. (Blues) (UK) Open House: Growth, the club announced that the Knighthead Fan Park officially opened its gates for the first time at the Sky Bet League One clash against their peer team – the Stockport County F.C. – on December 4th.

‘BCFC.com’ stated that located at the bottom of Tilton Road on the Main Stand side, the gates opened at 5 pm and can accommodate up to 1,000 supporters.

The Birmingham City Football Club is a professional football club based in Birmingham, England (UK). Formed in 1875, it plays in the English Football League (EFL) League One, the third tier of English football, following relegation in 2024.

The 29,409-capacity St Andrew’s, known for sponsorship reasons as St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park, is an association football stadium in the Bordesley district of Birmingham, England (UK). It has been the home ground of the Birmingham City Football Club for more than a century. From 2018 to 2021, it was known as the St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium.

The English Football League One, known as Sky Bet League One for sponsorship purposes or simply League One in England, is the second-highest division of the English Football League and the third-tier overall in the English football league system.

The Stockport County Football Club is a professional association football club based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England (UK). The team competes in the EFL League One, the third tier of the English football league system. The 10,852-capacity Edgeley Park serves as their home facility.

‘BCFC.com’ further stated that the grand opening included a live band performance, fun activities for the whole family and a fantastic selection of food and drinks available.

The Knighthead Fan Park is the new ultimate pre-match destination for any supporter heading down to the stadium. For the remainder of the season, the supporters will be able to enjoy live music from some of the best local bands and disc jockeys (DJs), fun activities for the whole family, two extra large screens and a fantastic selection of food and drink.

For future home fixtures, the Knighthead Fan Park will be open from 12 pm for any Saturday (3 pm) fixture and 5 pm for midweek matchdays. It will be open for one hour following the full-time whistle for the supporters to enjoy refreshments before traveling home.
