The EFL League One club Bolton Wanderers F.C. (UK) have announced that the club’s stadium hotel will receive a new name as part of a rebrand that will commence this Summer.

‘Bolton Wanderers’ stated that the Bolton Wanderers Bolton Whites Hotel will change its name to Bolton Stadium Hotel, with new external signage and a hotelwide rebrand being rolled out in the coming weeks.

The Bolton Wanderers Football Club is a professional football club based in Bolton near the town of Horwich, Lancashire, England (UK), which competes in EFL League One, the third tier of English football.

The 28,723-capacity University of Bolton Stadium is the home ground of Bolton Wanderers F.C. in Horwich, Greater Manchester, England. Opening in 1997, it was named the Reebok Stadium, after club sponsors Reebok. In 2014, Bolton Wanderers signed a naming rights deal with Italian sportswear company Macron.

The ‘Bolton Wanderers’ further stated that unveiled to attendees on the morning of June 23rd Fixtures Release Business Breakfast at the University of Bolton Stadium, the rebrand is part of a wider strategy to embed the hotel further into the stadium and the Bolton Wanderers Group.

Noted Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bolton Wanderers, “The hotel is an important and valued part of the Bolton Wanderers family and through this rebrand, we are bringing the hotel closer than ever to the heart of the club. The new name, Bolton Stadium Hotel, roots the hotel unmistakably at the home of the Wanderers and leans further into the unique hospitality experience and footballing environment that we can offer our guests.”

Added Hart, “This refresh of the hotel also falls in tandem with our exciting new partnership with the Radisson Hotel Group, as Bolton Stadium Hotel will also become a member of Radisson Individuals this year. External and internal hotel signage will be installed and upgraded in the coming weeks and guests will start to see the new branding also appear online and offline in due course.”

The Bolton Stadium Hotel (currently Bolton Whites Hotel) features 125 guest rooms, including 19 guest rooms offering impressive panoramic pitchside views, and a bar and restaurant serving traditional British cuisine.
