Bulls-Pistons to lock horns at NBA Paris Game

The National Basketball Association (NBA) team Chicago Bulls (US) are going to Paris (France) in 2023.

The ‘NBA Chicago’ stated that the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced on May 24th that next year’s NBA Paris Game taking place on January 19th, 2023 will be between the Chicago Bulls and their peer team – the Detroit Pistons.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is a professional basketball league in North America. The league is composed of 30 teams and is one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. It is the premier men’s professional basketball league in the world.

The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team based in Chicago, US. The Bulls compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team was founded on January 16th, 1966, and played its first game during the 1966-1967 NBA seasons.

The Detroit Pistons are an American professional basketball team based in Detroit, US. The Pistons compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division and play their home games at the 20,332-capacity Little Caesars Arena, located in Detroit, Michigan.

The regular-season game will take place at the 20,300-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, France. The last time the arena hosted a regular-season NBA game was on January 24th, 2020 between the NBA teams Charlotte Hornets and Milwaukee Bucks.

The ‘NBA Chicago’ further stated that this is Bulls’ third game in Paris in the team’s history, having played two preseason games in the French capital in 1997.

This will be the Pistons’ first game in France, having previously played regular-season games in London (UK) in 2013 and Mexico City (Mexico) in 2019.

The NBA Paris Game 2023 marks the league’s 12th game in France since 1991.
