Join leading lights in Leicester’s business community for an unforgettable night sleeping under the stars at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium in Leicester, England (UK), in April.

‘Leicester Tigers’ stated that sign up for an unique experience, filled with amazing business connection opportunities and chance to help bring awareness to a critical issue and support fundraising for the brilliant work done by CEO Sleepout and The Leicester Tigers Foundation.

The 25,849-capacity Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium is a rugby union stadium in Leicester, England (UK) and is the home ground of the Premiership Rugby team Leicester Tigers. The ground was opened on September 10th, 1892, and is located between Aylestone Road and Welford Road on the Southern edge of the City Centre.

The Leicester Tigers are a professional rugby union club based in Leicester, England (UK). They play in Premiership Rugby, England’s top division of rugby. The club was founded in 1880 and since 1892 plays its home matches at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium in the South of the City (Leicester).

The CEO Sleepout UK is a charity that raises money to fight homelessness and poverty across the United Kingdom. Money is raised by business executives being sponsored to sleep rough for a night.

The Leicester Tigers Foundation utilizes the power and expertise within the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club to help make a positive difference to the lives and opportunities of 1000s of individuals and groups every year.

‘Leicester Tigers’ further stated that the above event will take place on April 6th, starting from 8 pm, and is open to everyone. By participating in a CEO Sleepout event, one will gain insight into the big issues surrounding homelessness and what, as a business leader, one has the power to change.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire and Leicester Tigers Foundation Trustee Colonel Murray Colville TD DL will be taking part in the event and, ahead of the night at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, said, “I welcome the opportunity to highlight the plight of the Homeless in Leicestershire and both the Lord-Lieutenant and the Vice Lord-Lieutenant will join those generous benefactors prepared to give up their beds for a night, raising funds to address this growing national issue. Please join us if you are able to.”

The Leicester Tigers head honcho Andrea Pinchen, who will be taking part, stated, “Leicester Tigers are delighted to be working with CEO Sleepout and supporting the work of The Leicester Tigers Foundation, to host what promises to be an incredible event, tackling homelessness head on. We hope by raising awareness as well as vital funds, the Tigers Family can get behind supporting our local community.”
 

What is CEO Sleepout?
