Chelsea F.C. – the English professional football club based in Fulham, London (UK) – is looking to hire Facilities Manager.

‘Chelsea F.C.’ stated that the Facilities Manager will be based at the Cobham training ground and will be responsible for all property at Cobham and facilities at Kingsmeadow.

As a Facilities Manager, he or she will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business at Chelsea. He or she will also ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the working environment is maintained at the highest possible level for its employees, athletes and their activities.

‘Chelsea F.C.’ further stated that he or she will be responsible for a range of responsibilities like getting involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations in line with the 1st team training schedule, particularly in relation to buildings and premises.
 

Experience

The candidate must have experience within the facilities industry, working in a similar environment or large-scale building. Should possess good communication skills and have the ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

The employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea FC PLC policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorization, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company’s premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Foundation Safeguarding Lead.

The employee must also ensure a positive commitment towards equality and diversity by treating others fairly and not committing any form of direct or indirect discrimination, victimization or harassment of any description and to promote positive working relations amongst employees and customers.
