Coliseum – the only global sports venues business summit – for the first time in 13 years departed from its traditional format of hosting a classical summit to host Masterclasses in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Masterclasses were held at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention, Saudi Arabia, on May 11th-13th-15th, 2025.

‘Coliseum’ decided to hold the Masterclasses based on the requests and to align with the needs of the country (Saudi Arabia).

The objective was to get all the major stakeholders involved and the concept struck a chord with them. All the local stakeholders signed up for the Masterclasses.

Another winning stroke for ‘Coliseum’ – also key to the Masterclasses sessions – was getting speakers from all over the globe to share their pearls of wisdom gained through their wealth of experience.

The experts shared their views and spoke at length on the key topics for Saudi Arabia.

The key achievement was getting the local stakeholders engaged with one hour Q&A sessions following each Masterclass which ‘Coliseum’ accomplished with skill and strategy. This concept worked brilliantly and earned laurels from the highbrow gathering.

‘Coliseum’ will continue to host Masterclasses in Saudi Arabia on a regular basis. The next Masterclasses will be held in the fourth quarter of this year.
