The GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee (US) officially opened its doors for Nashville SC’s first home match on May 1st, 2022. It will serve as the home pitch of the Major League Soccer (MLS) team Nashville Soccer Club.

Nashville SC came from behind in its soccer stadium home opener to draw 1-1 with the Philadelphia Union on May 1st at GEODIS Park. The match was held in front of a sellout crowd of 31,109, in the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States.

The Nashville Soccer Club is a Major League Soccer (MLS) team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The team began play in the league in 2020 as a continuation of the USL club of the same name and plays its home matches at the GEODIS Park.

GEODIS Park, formerly known as Nashville SC Stadium and Nashville Fairgrounds Stadium, is a 30,000-seat soccer-specific stadium at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee, US.

The ‘Nashville SC’ stated that built in the heart of Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, GEODIS Park is one of the premier sports and entertainment destinations in the United States.

The 30,000-seat stadium is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada, featuring a 360-degree canopy, a 65-foot-wide shared concourse and a safe standing supporter’s section.

The ‘Nashville SC’ further stated that with just 150 feet of distance between the last row of seats and the touchline, GEODIS Park offers an electric matchday experience bringing fans closer to the action than ever before.
