The Formula 1 has announced a groundbreaking season launch event at London’s (UK) The O2 – featuring all the teams, their drivers and the team bosses, plus top entertainment – ahead of the 2025 campaign.

‘formula1.com’ stated that for the first time in the F1 history, the entire grid of 10 teams – Alpine (the team is based in Enstone, England [UK] and Viry-Châtillon, France), Aston Martin (a British car manufacturer that competes in Formula One as the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team), Ferrari (the racing team of the luxury Italian auto manufacturer Ferrari), Haas (American-licensed Formula One racing team), Kick Sauber (a Swiss motorsport engineering company), McLaren (Formula One chassis constructor), Mercedes (the team owner and engine manufacturer [Germany] for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team), Racing Bulls (an Italy racing team owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull), Red Bull (a Formula One racing team racing under an Austrian license and is based in the United Kingdom), and Williams (a British Formula One team) – and their 20 drivers and respective Team Principals will come together with the fans for a special night to welcome in the new season, reveal their 2025 liveries and mark the start of the sport’s 75th anniversary year.

London (UK)-based the Formula One, commonly known as the Formula 1 or F1, is the highest class of international racing for the open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile.

Paris (France)-based the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA – International Automobile Federation) is an international organization and the governing body for many international motorsport championships and disciplines including Formula One.

The 20,000-capacity The O2 (formerly known as the Millennium Dome) is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in South East London, England (UK) consisting of an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars, restaurants, and a guided tour to the top of The O2.

‘formula1.com’ further stated that this unprecedented world premiere event will take place between 2000 and 2200 GMT on February 18th, 2025 at the London venue The O2 and is being brought to life by the creative visionary Brian Burke (show creator, Producer and Director) of BrianBurkeCreative (a design and creative vision company that specializes in live entertainment, television and other large-scale events and is based in Las Vegas, US) along with the Stufish Entertainment Architects (the recognized world leader in entertainment architecture based in London), the DX7 Design (a company that provides lighting design, production design and creative direction for a variety of clients including television, concerts, theater, and special events and is based in Los Angeles, US), and the production company 1826 (a global experience agency based in Los Angeles).

The BrianBurkeCreative and this world-renowned team delivered the pioneering Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023.

During the interactive season launch event the guests can also expect interviews with the key figures from the sport including the drivers and the Team Principals as well as the top entertainment and special guest presenters.

The fans who cannot attend in person will still be able to watch the action live with broadcast details and further event information to follow in the coming weeks.

Stated Stefano Domenicali, President-cum-head honcho of Formula 1, “For the first time we will bring together our fans, all the 20 superstars of our sport and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing. Maintained Mohammed Ben Sulayem, FIA President, “The FIA is delighted to join our colleagues at the Formula One Management (FOM) and all the teams in the staging of the inaugural Formula 1 season launch event. The occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the sport throughout the 2025 season.”

The Formula One Management (FOM) is the company that controls the commercial rights, organization and broadcasting of Formula One. The FOM is owned by the Liberty Media, a media company based in the United States.
