Fans attending Arab Cup must apply for fan ID Image: Qatar 2022

Everyone planning to attend FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021™ matches must apply for the Hay’ya Card (Fan ID). Hay’ya means ‘let’s go’ in Arabic and the Hay’ya Card will offer a host of benefits, including free public transport for ticket holders on matchdays.

‘Qatar 2022’ stated that Qatar will host the FIFA Arab Cup™ from November 30th to December 18th. The 16-team international tournament is seen as a golden opportunity for the country to test its FIFA World Cup 2022™ preparations.

The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup™ is scheduled to be the 10th edition of the Arab world’s national team football tournament. It will be the first edition with the FIFA Arab Cup™ branding.

Every ticket holder – whether they live in Qatar or abroad – must apply for the Hay’ya Card. Tickets for every match are currently available from FIFA.com/tickets. After buying a ticket, fans should apply for a Hay’ya Card via fac21.qa. One Hay’ya Card will last each fan the entire tournament.

To apply for a Hay’ya Card, fans should follow the below steps:

  • Visit fac21.qa;
  • Register your personal details;
  • Enter a valid ticket application number;
  • Upload your ID document (Qatar nationals and residents should submit valid Qatar ID; international fans should submit valid passport);
  • Children under 14 will need a parent or legal guardian to submit their Hay’ya Card application;
  • You will be notified when your Hay’ya Card has been approved. It may take up to 72 hours;
  • Fans will be able to collect their Hay’ya Card from one of the dedicated service centers across Qatar, including the Doha Exhibition Centre (DEC), near Katara, and Hamad International Airport;
  • Fans will be able to collect their Hay’ya Card from DEC starting November 15th (10 am to 10 pm Saturday to Thursday and 2 pm to 10 pm on Fridays) until the end of the tournament; and
  • DEC is open for fans to buy tickets, apply for the Hay’ya Card and seek technical support. More ticket/Hay’ya Card locations will be announced soon.

 

Fans who live outside Qatar should note the following:

  • After successfully applying for the Hay’ya Card, one will receive an entry permit certificate which one must print and use to enter Qatar.

Tickets for the FIFA Arab Cup, priced from QAR 25 for Qatar residents, are available now from fifa.com/tickets.
