It was a total adrenaline rush scene as die-hard fans descended on the Lambeau Field (US) ground on January 16th to celebrate the National Football League (NFL) team Green Bay Packers’ win over fellow team Los Angeles Rams (32:18) at the former’s home ground.

It was quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Packers who engineered the victory in front of the home crowd for the first time strictly speaking in terms of since the coronavirus pandemic broke out in March last year and continues to clobber the United States till date.

Stated an exhilarated Rodgers, “It was such a special moment. I forgot how much you missed that. I’m definitely a little emotional. I just think about what we went through. It touched me with the crowd out there today.”

The 38-year-old quarterback is increasingly dreaming of the second Super Bowl victory of his career. The last time the Packers won the Super Bowl was in 2011.

The Packers celebrated the undisputed success on the evening of January 16th in front of 8,456 fans in the iconic Lambeau Field. It was for the first time this season that supporters were admitted to the 81,441-capacity Lambeau Field since COVID-19 broke out in March 2020 worldwide.

With the Packers’ victory, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to face Green Bay Packers for the National Football Conference (NFC) Championship in the 2021 NFL Playoffs. The game is scheduled for January 24th, 2021 at the legendary Lambeau Field.

The Buffalo Bills, however, are still waiting for their first ever Super Bowl triumph. From 1991 to 1994, the team lost four finals on the trot – and now has a great chance of returning to the finals.

The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the NFL. Since 2004, the game has been played on the first Sunday in February. It is the culmination of a regular season that begins in the late summer of the previous year.

The ‘Bills Mafia’ waited all of the NFL season to see the Bills play at their home ground, and when they got the green light for the postseason, they invigorated the game to the finishing goal.

With only 6,700 fans being allowed into the 71,870-capacity Bills Stadium, ‘Bills Mafia’ were all full of beans and cheered so loud that it seemed like the stadium was packed to capacity.

Commenting on the fans’ impact, quarterback Allen of the Buffalo Bills stated, “It was unbelievable to have 6,700 people here.”

Added Allen, “To force a few false starts and delay of games, I mean it was just unbelievable to hear it. I’m glad that they got to experience this.”

Fans definitely let their hair down in the above NFL fixtures and the games definitely helped them to beat the stress in a COVID-riddled world. They also ‘energized’ the stadia with their shouts and squeals.
