The American professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California – Los Angeles Dodgers which competes in Major League Baseball (MLB) – has pencilled a multiyear collaboration with on-demand fuel delivery company Fuelster.

The deal names Fuelster as the exclusive on-demand mobile fuel delivery service of the Dodgers. Fuelster will deliver its service at Dodgers’ home games.

Dodgers’ home games was all set to start from March 23 this year, but the MLB schedule has been put on hold and the start of the 2020 regular season has been delayed by at least two weeks due to the grave situation emerging globally due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

The deal entails that fans will be able to park up at Dodger Stadium and place an order on the Fuelster app, then leave their gas door open and have their car filled up while they are enjoying the game. Fuelster supplies four types of unleaded fuel and diesel (87, 89, 91, and 99).

Fuelster facilitates customers to put across a request for a specific number of gallons or move the slider to ‘Fill My Tank’ following which a Fuelster technician will arrive at their vehicle to provide service. No membership fee is required and delivery is free of cost, with gas prices competitive to local stations.

In return, the company will benefit from in-stadium assets such as signage and digital media.

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Fuelster, Anita Siraki, remarked, “Fuelster is committed to revolutionizing the retail gas industry and we are honored to partner with the Dodgers, an iconic brand synonymous with the city of Los Angeles.”

Fuelster is on the cutting edge of technology with LAFD-certified equipment and a dynamic scalable platform to service the marketplace’s strong desire for on-demand solutions. Our goal is for Dodger fans to never again have to stop for fuel on the way to and home from Dodger Stadium,” Siraki further remarked.

Michael Wandell, Senior Vice-President of Global Partnerships for the Dodgers, added, “With a long history of groundbreaking innovation, we are constantly striving to leverage technology to improve the fan experience at Dodger Stadium. Our partnership with Fuelster furthers this mission by offering a convenient solution for the four million fans who visit Dodger Stadium each year.”

Following Fuelster signing a strategic partnership to deliver a mobile fuelling service at Staples Center and the Los Angeles arena’s surrounding sports and entertainment district, L.A. Live, the Dodgers deal was struck.

The deal has been brokered by AEG Global Partnerships and requires that Fuelster becomes an official partner of L.A. Live and the exclusive on-demand fuel delivery service of the National Hockey League (NHL) ice hockey team – the LA Kings – which plays at the multipurpose arena Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

AEG Global Partnerships delivers corporate brands the largest sports and live music marketing network in the world.

The alliance is the first of its kind for AEG, owner and operator of Staples Center and L.A. Live, and Fuelster’s first sports partnership providing service at a professional arena or sports complex.

The Dodgers continue to give supporters a superior experience at Dodgers Stadium. Last year, they arrived at an extended agreement with Postmates as their exclusive on-demand delivery and pick-up partner, along with announcing the implementation of Postmates Live via multi-year partnership. The LA-based Fuelster will also receive in-stadium assets, including signage and digital media.

Postmates are an American company that employs couriers to deliver goods locally. It offers fans the option to place a concession stands order through the service and pick up their food at designated Postmates Pickup locations found on the top deck at Dodger Stadium, with no extra fees. A full-stadium rollout of the Postmates Live service is expected this season.

Fuelster is a revolutionary company that is bringing about a sea change in the way people refuel their vehicles. The company’s futuristic service combines advanced mobile app and software technologies with a highly streamlined delivery process, providing customers with a better, more convenient way to get high quality gas for their vehicles without having to stop at a gas station. Customers simply download the Fuelster app, available on iOS and Android, enter their information, and place an order for service. With an increasing number of people prioritizing convenience, Fuelster’s app-driven solution is well positioned among the on-demand services that many customers have come to know and trust.
