The Dutch football club Go Ahead Eagles has been given the go-ahead by the Municipality of Deventer for spruce-up of their home stadium – the De Adelaarshorst Stadium in Deventer, Netherlands.

‘ONEFOOTBALL’ stated that the Go Ahead Eagles submitted an application to the Municipality of Deventer last year seeking nod for refurbishing their home ground.

The Go Ahead Eagles are a Dutch professional football club from the City of Deventer in the province of Overijssel (Netherlands). They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, having achieved promotion from the second tier Eerste Divisie in the 2020-2021 seasons.

The De Adelaarshorst is a multiuse stadium in Deventer, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of the Go Ahead Eagles. The stadium is able to hold 10,400 people and was built in the year 1920.

‘ONEFOOTBALL’ further stated that the renovation plans comprise restructuring and expanding the B-side and the IJsseltribune and providing par excellence facilities to the fans.

The main stand and the Leo Halle Stand of the above arena were renovated few years back. The above nod allows the next phase makeover of the De Adelaarshorst Stadium to make it futuristic and future-proof.
