The financial services company EverBank and the National Football League (team) Jacksonville Jaguars have reached a pending agreement on a three-year extension for the team’s stadium naming rights, subject to final approval from the City of Jacksonville (Florida, US), the bank announced in a recent release.

‘y!sports’ stated that so long as the deal is approved, the Jaguars’ home facility will be called the EverBank Stadium through the 2027 season.

EverBank is an American diversified financial services company providing banking and investment services, primarily via a direct bank. It is based in Jacksonville, Florida (US).

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida (US). The Jaguars compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference South Division. The team plays its home games at the EverBank Stadium.

The 67,838-capacity EverBank Stadium is an American football stadium located in Jacksonville, Florida (US) that primarily serves as the home facility of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL).

EverBank’s Chief Executive Officer Greg Seibly said in a statement, “Like every Jaguars fan, all of us at EverBank are thrilled we’ll be able to continue to ‘Lock Down The Bank’ at home games for several years to come under this pending sponsorship agreement extension. As a Jacksonville-based company with a nationwide focus, our longstanding relationships on and off the field with the Jaguars, the NFL and the City of Jacksonville have enabled us to make a significant impact in the communities where we work and live, and we look forward to carrying on that great tradition.”

New York (US)-based the National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference.

Maintained Mark Lamping, President of the Jacksonville Jaguars, “Over the years, EverBank has been synonymous with the home of the Jaguars. We are thrilled to continue this relationship through an extended agreement.”

‘y!sports’ further stated that the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan recently revealed their agreement on proposed renovations to the EverBank Stadium, which are projected to cost $1.4 billion between the team and the City.

The plans call for the team to temporarily relocate for the 2027 season, the final year of the agreed-upon naming rights extension, for the final year of construction. The new-look facility would be scheduled to open in August 2028.
