New fan experience revealed at Nagasaki Peace Stadium Image: Nagasaki Stadium City

The under-construction PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank, a soccer stadium at the Nagasaki Stadium City in Japan, is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2024.
 

Up-Close

‘NAGASAKI STADIUM CITY’ stated that the stadium is closest to Japan’s pitch and will offer a total immersive experience. The stadium has approximately 20,000 seats and will be the home stadium of the professional soccer club V-Varen Nagasaki once completed. The shortest distance to the pitch is approximately five meters, allowing one to feel close to the players, creating a compact and immersive stadium.

Construction of the PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank started in 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2024.

The V-Varen Nagasaki is a Japanese football club based in Nagasaki (Japan), Capital of Nagasaki Prefecture. They currently play in J2 League, the second division of the Japan Professional Football League.

The 20,246-capacity Transcosmos Stadium Nagasaki is an athletic stadium in Isahaya, Nagasaki, Japan. Also known as the Nagasaki Athletic Stadium, it received its current name in August 2016 in a deal for naming rights. The stadium is primarily used for football and is the home field of the J. League football club V-Varen Nagasaki.

The Softbank has signed a sponsor partnership with V-Varen for four years. Till their new home is completed, the club will continue to play at the Transcosmos Stadium Nagasaki.

The fund investors included sovereign wealth funds from countries in the Middle East.
 

A Space Open to Everyday Life

‘NAGASAKI STADIUM CITY’ further stated that even on days when there are no matches, a relaxing place has been created where anyone can feel free to stop by and have fun, such as chatting in the seats or watching children run around on the pitch.
 

A New Viewing Experience

The swanky stadium will boast a wide variety of VIP seats, including ‘Player Seats’, where one can watch the game from the same perspective as the players thus providing a variety of viewing experiences where one can almost touch the players!
 

Open Food Hall with a View of the Pitch

The pitch will be open even on days when there are no matches. Whether one is having lunch or going out for a picnic, one can enjoy one’s meal while enjoying the Nagasaki breeze.
 

A Brewery Cafe that Creates a Lively Atmosphere

The plush stadium will provide a relaxing space where one can easily gather for any occasion, cheering on the club with a beer in hand, or toasting with friends after work.

A special pitch-level seat that allows one to watch the game up close, so close that one can even hear the players kicking the ball and the coach giving instructions to the players! The distance to the pitch is approximately five meters, the shortest distance in Japan.
 

Players Bench

There will be a Players Bench right next to one’s seat! One can instantly feel the movement of the bench!
 

Felco Seating Systems

Enjoy a comfortable viewing experience with a special seat designed for comfort. The seats are made by the highly rated Felco Seating Systems which is used in movie theaters in Japan. Excellent comfort and thick cushioning provide a comfortable viewing experience. There are also drink holders at every seat.
 

Special Moments

Have a special time before and after the game. One can watch the player entrance and the coach’s press conference through the glass! The chic venue will offer a special experience that cannot be experienced anywhere else.

Nagasaki Stadium City Project

The stadium project is being led by the private sector to develop a complex facility centered on a soccer stadium, including an arena, offices, commercial facilities, and a hotel.
