Juliet Slot is leaving her role as Arsenal’s chief commercial officer (CCO) after nearly five years in the post.

MSN said that under her tenure the club, which won the Premier League in 2025/26, achieved record revenues of £691 million for the year ending May 2025.

It’s understood the decision to leave was taken by Slot and timed to coincide with a high point in both sporting and financial performance.

Arsenal F.C. is an English professional football club based in Islington, North London, England (UK). They compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English football.

The 60,704-seat Emirates Stadium is a football stadium in Holloway, London, England (UK). It has been the home stadium of the Arsenal F.C. since its completion in 2006.

Slot’s exit comes as Arsenal enjoys its strongest commercial position in history, with commercial income climbing from £218.3 million to £263.2 million in 2025 and likely to rise again in 2026.

Slot arrived at the Emirates with almost 30 years’ commercial experience in sport, having held senior roles at Ascot Racecourse, adidas, Fulham, the London 2012 Olympic Games and sports communications agency Pitch.

After years of commercial stagnation, brought on in part by Arsenal’s absence from the Champions League and the financial impact of the Covid pandemic, one of her first priorities was renegotiating the club’s flagship partnerships.

Slot secured or extended high-profile partnerships, including a lucrative adidas kit deal reportedly worth £75 million per season until 2030, and Emirates’ stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship.

She also brought in Sobha Realty as training ground naming-rights holder and principal partner, alongside new agreements with Deel, Paramount+, and HFM.

These deals expanded Arsenal’s commercial reach and diversified its revenue streams.

Rather than relying on a handful of headline partners, Arsenal now boast a broad mix of global, regional and official sponsors spanning everything from airlines and sportswear to laundry detergent, cybersecurity and trading platforms.

Slot said during her time at the helm, “We’re [Arsenal] not a football club. We’re a global brand that plays football that really serves our supporters.”

Her departure leaves the club seeking a successor capable of sustaining momentum in sponsorship, hospitality, and global branding.

Arsenal now faces the challenge of maintaining its upward commercial trajectory in a competitive sponsorship market.

Slot’s philosophy of treating the club as a ‘global brand that plays football’ has shaped its recent growth, suggesting the next CCO will need to balance global expansion with supporter engagement.

The club’s recent hospitality deal with Legends Global and tourism tie-up with Saint Lucia show its intent to keep diversifying revenue.
